<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Common core townhall with tom luna</p>
<p>Well you gotta give credit to Kevin miller again attempting to get to the bottom of and to the truth of the issue. The really sad part is that the truth only is concerning to those that will be affected by common core not those who are hell bent on implementing it! </p>
<p>I was asked to attend tonights meeting and thought about whether i should or not. After only a few minutes i realized it would be an utter waste of my time. Why? Because this is one more song and dance. This is one more chance not to be heard by our elected officials but one more chance to be indoctrinated or swayed as to why we need it. What happened to town halls where the concerns of the people were of concern to the elected officials? What happened to getting down to the truth and not have some rosy bullshit story shoved down the throats of the tax payer?</p>
<p>If i had the chance i would hang these bastards by their balls not only for not telling the truth but to take the position of telling us what is good for us! </p>
<p>I could go on a rant for days on why common core is a tragedy but it really should come down to one issue first, not is it a good idea but does the federal government have the authority to create and forcefully implement federalized standards within their limitations outlined in the constitution? If they don&#8217;t, they are stepping outside their jurisdictional boundaries and usurping the authority of the state! Like healthcare this agenda is most likely money driven and because if this is exempt from any boundaries.</p>
<p>Below are several articles i collected on the reality of common core. As for Luna, one whom i called friend, i think he is either ignorant of the reality or has turned his back on his honor selling his fellow idahoans down the road. As well as i know him, i venture to say he has no idea the full ramifications of what he promotes. I only hope he wakes before its too late and realizes the harm that will be done by its unlawful abusive implementation</p>

<p>[STATE’S] PARENTS DENIED DUE DILIGENCE AND DUE PROCESS: STATE SCHOOL BOARD ADOPTS FEDERAL EDUCATION COMMON CORE STANDARDS AND ASSESSMENTS</p>
<p>By Norman H. Jackson, Judge, Utah Court of Appeals, Retired PAPER – January 28, 2013</p>
<p>[The State's] State Board[s] of Education adopted the Federal Common Core State Standards Initiative before they, or anyone else knew, what the Standards would be. The Federal curriculum, assessments and other materials had not been written and some are still being drafted. We, and our legislators, had no notice of this action, and have no voice in the ongoing production of Common Core. This procedure has usurped basic education policy and content decisions from parents and our elected representatives&#8230;these mandates are contrary to the Tenth Amendment of the U. S. Constitution which reserves control over education to the states and the people.</p>
<p>Here is the factual background and timeline for the creation and progress of Common Core. Education “reformers” have worked for decades to impose national education standards. The current phase began during the 2008 Presidential election when it was introduced as uniform “American Standards”. As the Obama administration came into power, their vision for nationalizing education was labeled “Benchmarking For Success”. To avoid the scrutiny of the democratic process, they used the Stimulus Bill to distribute an enormous pot of money to the U. S. Dept. of Education. And this taxpayer money is being used to shape state and local education without Congressional oversight.</p>
<p>In March 2009, the Department announced a two-part “Race-To-The-Top” competition for states to receive Common Core education funding. States could not get any money unless they signed contracts to adopt the Federal Standards. In March 2010, the “first official public draft” of the Standards (Math and English only) was released. A final draft was released in June, and our State Board of Education immediately applied for funding and adopted Common Core. Education Week reported Rutgers professor Joseph Rosenstein’s observation that: “Deciding so quickly … was irresponsible”. Moreover, our School Board’s Application was not deemed meritorious. Funding was denied. But, Common Core mandates remain.</p>
<p>These facts demonstrate that we the people, and our children, were denied Due Diligence. Due Diligence is “such diligence as a reasonable person under the same circumstances would use.” It is “used most often in connection with the performance of a professional or fiduciary duty.” It was not reasonable under these circumstances for the Board to act without giving notice to its constituents and providing an opportunity to respond. As fiduciaries, the Board had the duty to act in behalf of the public with care, candor and loyalty in fulfilling its obligations. I concur with Professor Rosenstein and conclude that the Board’s actions constitute a breach of their fiduciary duty to do “Due Diligence” in our behalf.</p>
<p>Further, these facts demonstrate that&#8230;citizens were denied Due Process. The boundaries of Due Process are not fixed. Fundamental to procedural due process is adequate notice prior to the government’s deprivation of one’s life, liberty, or property, and an opportunity to be heard and defend one’s rights. Substantive due process is a limit on the government’s power to affect the above rights. It is a safeguard against government action that is unfair, irrational or arbitrary in advancing a government interest.</p>
<p>The Federal mandates of Common Core dwarf No Child Left Behind mandates. They have the potential to be like Medicaid and ObamaCare with immense un-vetted and unfunded costs to taxpayers. States and their citizens have the Constitutional right to local control. But, the Government requires that Common Core be fully implemented by 2014. Moreover, recent Federal revisions to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) render student and family data – educational, health and otherwise – collectible by the Federal Government through the P-20W data systems they paid States to create. The State School Board’s denial of due process to citizens has made this possible.</p>
<p>I concur with Mitt Romney’s recent evaluation of Common Core: “I don’t subscribe to the idea of the Federal Government trying to push a Common Core on various states. It’s one thing to put out as a model and let people adopt it as they will, but to financially reward states based upon accepting the Federal Government’s idea of a curriculum, I think, is a mistake. And the reason I say that is that there may come a time when the Government has an agenda that it wants to promote”.</p>
<p>Obama’s “2020 Vision Roadmap” for America’s schools was co-written by his former education advisor, Linda Darling-Hammond. Darling-Hammond is now in charge of content specifications for half the country’s testing under Common Core. Yet, she attacks the use of standardized tests! In Nation Magazine, she compares America’s education system with South African apartheid and proposes that poverty requires the government to guarantee “housing, healthcare, and basic income security” to all. Then she praises nations that centrally control their schools.</p>
<p>At the end of her article, she touts Obama’s grand “2020 Vision Roadmap” (which she helped write) stating: “The Federal government should compel states to review inter- and intra- school resource distribution using established indicators. States that fail to comply would be subject to withdrawal of Federal funds, and the Federal Government would have the right to the direct remedy to correct the problem.”</p>
<p>The citizens of Utah and the United States are in for some spectacular surprises, including federally controlled education and redistribution of State and school district resources during Obama’s second term. I urge [States'] lawyer legislators to evaluate the State Board’s denial of due diligence and due process to [its] citizens, and to protect taxpayers and students from Obama’s Education policies to be fully implemented by 2014.</p>
<p>Common Core is a big issue in Idaho now as the education bureaucracy is attempting to ramrod acceptance of Common Core in conjunction with the technocratic takeover of our schools. It&#8217;s important that when you talk to people about Common Core that you have the facts because the propaganda supporting it is coming from well-funded and highly connected places. </p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter if you are in Idaho or not. Common Core is a national plan. This website is a great place to start learning about Common Core and why we don&#8217;t want it for Idaho children</p>

<p>I vote &#8216;yes&#8217; to an extended meeting on Common Core in April.</p>
<p>This is an uncut version of information sent to the local paper as an editorial letter. (It was submitted a couple of times, editing for length and content.) They state that they can&#8217;t print it because the Idaho Department of Education refutes some of it, in spite of the fact that the footnotes were included in the submission. You can find many more supports on line. You be the judge&#8230;</p>

<p>	On March 16th Idaho State Superintendent of Education Tom Luna presented his support for the Common Core State Standards Initiative (CCSSI/CC/CCSS). In his presentation he stated repeatedly that Idaho “has its own K-12 standards, which he says he helped to write, and that “we will always have our own standards.” But the Idaho State Department of Education publishes on line that “The current Idaho State Language Usage and Reading Standards will be replaced by CCSS as of the 2013-2014 school year.” It says the same for the “current Mathematics standards”, and also that “all new curriculum alignments should now be made to the CCSS” (1) for both math and English Language Arts (ELA).<br />
Supt. Luna said that a few years ago he was elected as president of the CCSSO (Council of Chief State School Officers&#8211;a private club for state superintendents and other school officers), and spoke favorably of the NGA (National Governor’s Association&#8211;a private club for governors). Proponents of Common Core argue that it is a state led initiative and that governors and state superintendents voluntarily signed on. But NGA and CCSSO, as private organizations, are backed by the Gates Foundation, among others. In 2004 Gates’ Microsoft Corporation entered into a contract with UNESCO, an arm of the United Nations, to create a global education system. In 2009 the Gates Foundation poured millions into the NGA and CCSSO, who “were involved in drafting, evaluating, and winning support for the standards.” (2)<br />
Textbook publisher McGraw-Hill states that they are “an endorsing partner of the NGA/CCSSO common core initiative”, and that “The Gates Foundation will spend an estimated $354 million between 2010 and 2014” (2) to install Common Core in our states.<br />
The Smarter Balanced Consortium web site states that they are “one of two multistate consortia awarded funding from the U.S. Department of Education to develop an assessment system based on the new Common Core Standards.” And proponents say that this is state-led, and not federal intrusion? (3) Supt. Luna said that there has been no exchange of money between the Fed and Idaho for CCSSI, but we are receiving federal dollars for education, and Pres. Obama told the states that he would withhold Title 1 money of states who do not sign on to CC, which amounts to coercion. (4) Also, “The nearly $16 billion in additional costs is nearly four times the federal government’s Race to the Top grant awards,” said Pioneer Institute Director Jim Stergios. “With state and local taxpayers footing 90 percent of the bill for K-12 public education, the federal government’s push to get states to adopt national standards and tests amount to one big unfunded mandate.” (5)<br />
Pres. Obama also enticed states saying that if they would fully implement CC, he would reduce their obligation to No Child Left Behind (NCLB), (6) which was another federal intrusion fiasco that harmed our children’s education, our sovereignty and our pocketbooks. He further induced them with $4.35 billion in Race to the Top stimulus dollars. (7) These intrusions and methods violate multiple federal laws. (8)<br />
When later asked about the requirements of CCSS that children will not be taught to write in cursive, (9) or taught to read using phonics (they will be taught whole language, as though memorizing Chinese characters), (10) Mr. Luna expressed no concern, and said that it is up to the local districts as to what methods and curriculum to use. (See the first paragraph above re Idaho’s curriculum alignments to CC.)<br />
Reuters, an international news agency, reports a $100 million injection into data tracking, which is one of the requirements of CC: “In operation just three months, the database already holds files on millions of children identified by name, address and cometimes Social Security number. Learning disabilities are documented, test scores recorded, attendendance noted. In some cases, the database tracks student hobbies, career goals, attitudes toward school, even homework completion.” (11) Clinical Psychologist Gary Thompson states, “According to the U.S. Department of Education, CCSS will authorize the use of testing instruments that will measure the ‘attributes, dispositions, social skills, attitude’s and intra personal resources’ of public school students under CCSS (USDOE Feb, 2013 Report). In a nutshell, CCSS simply states that it will develop highly effective assessments that measures….well….almost ‘everything.’” He states that “The accuracy of psychological testing has grown in the past 10 years to astonishing levels” and that he cannot professionally endorse CCSS as currently written, and that “The issues involving psychological testing and privacy are issues that should be of concern to every parent with a child enrolled in public school.” (12) He should add that this applies also to home and private schoolers.<br />
When asked about this national data base, Supt. Luna said, “No children in Idaho have had any data about them shared with the federal government.” Could that be because CC won’t be implemented until this fall? What is the purpose of this data being sent to the federal government and other entitles, even without the knowledge or permission of parents? The Gates Foundation funded a paper titled, “Framework for a Multistate Human Capital Development Data System.” The answer is in the title. The government will decide what educational opportunities and jobs will be available to our citizens. Every state is to have a P-20 Council (P-20W) which means documentation from pre-school through 20 years of schooling, which includes 2 years of college level schooling, to the job the federal government has chosen for you. (13)<br />
Federal FERPA laws (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974) were passed in order to protect our children’s information from the Fed, but parental rights to deny the collection of this data, or to restrict who has access to it were changed through executive regulation, not the legislative process, paving the way for the State Longitudinal Database System (SLDS). (14)<br />
The data will be gathered and stored at a mammoth facility that is currently being built by the National Security Agency (NSA) in energy-rich Utah on Camp Williams in Salt Lake County, and is scheduled for completion this fall. (15)<br />
What do we do without Common Core? Dr. Sandra Stotsky, who refused to sign off on the ELA CC standards as the only person on the CC Validation Committee who is an expert on the subject, because they are inferior in that they do not prepare students for authentic college level work and are not internationally benchmarked. Dr. Stotsky has offered her standards for free to the states. (16) She is one of the foremost authorities on ELA standards in the country, having studied the standards of each of the states, and helped Massachusetts to become one of the top states in the nation in ELA education. James Milgram was the only person on the Validation Committee who is an expert on math standards, and he also refused to sign off on them because of their inferiority. (17) Several states have higher math standards than Common Core, and those standards should be adopted instead of CC without the terrific expense, and without turning education over to the federal government, i.e. Singapore math or Saxon math.<br />
Public knowledge, feeling and individual actions are the only chance we have to overcome the powerful influence on our governors and chief school officers by the federal government and special interest corporations. Please inform yourself, and require Governor Otter and Supt. Luna to get us out of Common Core.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;ve tried to be the responsible parent and attend any of the local school district meetings in order to get answers and accountability regarding the horrific adaptations of &#8220;Common Core&#8221; that&#8217;s blanketing every school system in the U.S., then no doubt you&#8217;ve been delayed by some hard-core,old-fashioned delay tactics. These are bonafide TACTICS that are deliberately utilized to ensure you do NOT have a voice and that their dark works get to remain in darkness. YOU need to be able to take back the meeting though, and ensure that questions ARE answered. The following information and resources will help you do so.</p>
<p>If you think that the implementation of this kind of information is too arduous or outside of the scope of what you&#8217;re willing to do to protect your children, then allow me to make perfectly clear that the ENEMY most certainly is embracing and learning and is fully committed to using these tactics against you and your children. You will have NO recourse if you do not discipline yourself to address this issue with intelligence, determination, and self-restraint.<br />
.<br />
So, please&#8211;get informed, and get armed.<br />
Some of the state tactics used to avoid answering your questions that you need to be aware of are:<br />
The presenter drones on and doesn’t leave time for questions.<br />
The presenter deflects your question and tries to act like nobody else is interested and they’ll address your question after the meeting.<br />
The presenter works to separate you from the group during the meeting so you or your position are isolated. There are cases elsewhere, where a person might be pulled out of the room for someone to answer your question.<br />
This is called the Delphi Technique and if you read this excellent article you will be prepared to defend yourself against it.<br />
http://www.vlrc.org/articles/110.html (please cut and paste the link as FB won&#8217;t allow me to hyperlink it for some reason)</p>
<p>In general, when confronting such persons, your best tactics are:<br />
Keep a calm voice and never lose your cool.<br />
Bring the person you’ve asked the question to, back on subject to answer your question. Stay focused.<br />
Don’t let them deflect or delay. Just calmly reiterate that your question hasn’t been answered.<br />
If someone else is being deflected, support them by asking the question again.<br />
Don&#8217;t allow them to manipulate you to express anger or great emotion as they will leverage that to portray you as a &#8220;dangerous&#8221; or &#8220;frightening&#8221; person.<br />
I realize that these meetings are being held all of the the U.S. however I feel that it&#8217;s very valuable to parent to read of this report by Christel Swasey’s experience in a Wasatch School District meeting presentation by State Office of Education official Judy Park.(Utah)</p>

<p>This link will also help you better understand the issue of Common Core being put into our school systems regardless of where you live; you&#8217;ll find it helpful. This program is most assuredly a blatant attack on the morality, family values, and the value of a family and the inherent authorities and responsibilities that parents hold in the family role. Don&#8217;t wait until you LOSE your children before you&#8217;re inclined to fight for them. Protect them now. </p>
<p>Hello,</p>
<p>Idaho&#8217;s Common Core Memorandum of Agreement says exactly what was expected: Chief State School Officer (CSSO) Luna is saying Idaho has her own standards because Idaho was one of the participants with the other states through the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), of which he was formerly the President, and National Governor&#8217;s Association (NGA) in developing the CCSS standards and getting them adopted, which was funded by Gates and others. That&#8217;s what Common Core State Standards are, so far&#8211;an NGA/CCSSO concoction funded by Gates (who reportedly recently told the Wall Street Journal that he has $5 BILLION in the game to this point http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111903554904576461571362279948.html), the Fed, and others. </p>
<p>Governor (NGA) Otter&#8217;s job, and CSSO Luna&#8217;s job, is stated as, &#8220;responsibility for coordinating the process that will lead to state adoption of a common core set of standards&#8221;. Doesn&#8217;t that mean their responsibility is not to Idahoans, who elected them and are paying their salary, but to those who are paying for the CCSSO and NGA? </p>
<p>Idaho has agreed (&#8220;States that choose to align their standards to the common core standards agree to ensure that the common core represents at least 85 percent of the state&#8217;s standards in English language arts and mathematics&#8221;&#8211;but keep in mind that science, social studies, and sex ed have already been written and are ready for inclusion) to use CCSS Common Core State Standards for 85% of their standards (which drives the assessments and curriculum),which means the states cannot change one word of the standards; they are only allowed to add 15% if they want to improve the education, and/or change the direction the conglomerate and Fed and Gates are taking them. That means the Fed can teach anything they want, take as much class time assessing as they want, and the curriculum must be aligned with those standards and assessments. If you don&#8217;t like that they are using government documents and propaganda for ELA instead of the &#8216;classics&#8217;, teaching &#8216;social justice&#8217;(taxpayer funded immorality and taking from those who work for a living to give to those who won&#8217;t), and &#8216;sustainable growth&#8217;, which is population control such as we have already witnessed in places like China and India. </p>
<p>The Idaho MOA states that there will be a National Validation Committee, made up of experts, to validate &#8220;end-of-course expectations, provid[e] leadership for&#8230;development of K-12 standards, and certifying state adoption of the common core&#8230;[and will] provide an independent review of the common core&#8230;and&#8230;use evidence as the driving factor in validating&#8230;.&#8221; It also says that the standards will be &#8220;internationally benchmarked&#8221;. However, the only two &#8216;experts&#8217; on the validation committee both refused to sign off on the standards because of their inferiority. Dr. Sandra Stotsky, who has evaluated the ELA standards of every State, and is credited with helping Massachusetts to develop their top ELA standards (until they adopted CCSS), said that the Common Core State Standards are inferior in that they do not prepare students for authentic college level work and are NOT internationally benchmarked. She has offered her standards for free to any state (http://educationviews.org/dr-sandra-stotskys-gift-to-america-an-education) James (Jim) Milgram is the other expert on the validation committee who refused to sign off on the CCSS (http://parentsacrossamerica.org/james-milgram-on-the-new-core-curriculum-standards-in-math/ and http://concernedabouteducation.posterous.com/review-of-common-core-math-standards and http://wheresthemath.com/math-standards/common-core-state-standards/.)<br />
Several states have higher math standards than Common Core, and those standards should be adopted by the separate states as they desire. Singapore Math and Saxon Math are both proven math programs, and would not require the horrific cost of CCSS&#8217; inferior standards, not to mention the TOTAL loss of parental, educator, and state control.</p>
<p>The MOA that CSSO Luna and Governor Otter committed Idaho to defines the involvement of the federal government: It gives the Fed control through &#8220;key financial support&#8221; in &#8220;developing a common core of state standards and in moving toward common assessments, such as through the Race to the Top Fund authorized in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Further, the federal government can incentivize this effort through a range of tiered incentives, such as providing states with greater flexibility in the use of existing federal funds [Title 1? No Child Left Behind? etc., etc.], supporting a revised state accountability structure, [the states will be accountable for the massive increases in education costs, because all money that doesn't come from the federal printing presses and rapidly accumulating massive debt, comes from the states] and offering financial support for states to effectively implement the standards [Could "effectively implement" refer to the funding strings attached if the children are not sufficiently indoctrinated?]. Additionally, the federal government can provide long-term financial support for the development of common assessments, teacher and professional development [teachers and principals potentially may lose their jobs if they do not 'effectively implement' what the Fed tells them in their 'professional development'--there will likely be a financial response to such inadequacy], other related common core standards supports [What 'other' supports? That appears to leave the door wide open], and a research agenda that can help continually improve the common core over time [notice that Idaho agrees that 'improvement'/change will come from the Fed]. Finally, the federal government can revise and align existing federal education laws with the lessons learned from states&#8217; international benchmarking efforts and from federal research.&#8221; That looks like carte blanche to me&#8211;they can change federal laws re education without representation of the people through our legislatures, federal or state. This is where (SLDS) data mining comes into the picture, which is currently going on in States that are already implementing CCSS. This agreement says that there is total federal government control, except for the 15% that can be added, if there is time/energy left in the day/year. </p>
<p>It is signed by Governor: C. ? Butch Otter and Chief State School Officer: Tom Luna</p>

<p>p.s. In case you are interested,&#8221;In 2004, Gates signed a 26 page agreement with UNESCO (an arm of the United Nations that President Reagan got us out of, but President Bush got us back into) to develop a master curriculum for global teacher training. Robert Muller, the former assistant secretary general of the U.N. is the grandfather of the world core curriculum, the goal being to bring all schools in all nations under one common core curriculum.&#8221; I went to a meeting this week where a speaker referred to international testing called PISA that shows the U.S. is way behind other developed and educated countries. But when I looked it up on line http://ahypatia.wordpress.com/2010/12/07/pisa-what-the-rankings-dont-tell-you/ I found that this dumbing down is international, started in 2000 (in close chronology to the Federal &#8216;Goals 2000 Act&#8217;, &#8216;School-to-Work-Act&#8217;, and &#8216;Elementary and Secondary Education Act&#8217;.*) The blogger talks about the fact that Finland, who ranks first, has some educators who are saying that these tests are based on inferior math, &#8216;fuzzy&#8217; math such as is already being taught in many of the States, that is very difficult to learn, turning children off to math, and limiting what they can learn in so much time and effort. Perhaps this is what they mean by &#8216;international benchmarks&#8217;.</p>
<p>*These laws establish the implementation of the plan outlined by Mark Tucker in the &#8220;Dear Hillary&#8221; [Clinton] letter that was placed in the Congressional Record on September 25, 1998, originally written on November 11, 1992, with the following mechanisms to restructure the public schools:<br />
1. Bypass all elected officials on school boards and in state legislatures by making federal funds flow to the Governor and his appointees on workforce development boards; [thus the takeover of the NGA and CCSSO by the Fed and Gates]<br />
2. Use a computer database, a.k.a. &#8220;a labor market information system,&#8221; into which school personnel would scan all information about every child and his family identified by the child&#8217;s social security number, or other number assigned to him/her: academic, medical mental psychological, behavioral, and interrogations by counselors. The computerized [this is one of the places where the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation comes in--a return on their, so far, $5 Billion investment] data would be available to [anyone the government deems worthy...as well as hackers, obviously].<br />
3. Use &#8220;national standards&#8221; and &#8220;national testing&#8221; to cement national control of tests, assessments, school honors and rewards, financial aid, and the Certificate of Initial Mastery (CMI), which is designed to replace the high school diploma.</p>
<p>I have spoken with a teacher who is afraid to even receive information opposing CCSS, let alone to speak out against it. She said repeatedly that she was afraid for her job. Is this still America? I have heard this from other sources as well, and just received another e- today saying as much:</p>
<p> “I recently attended a common core day of cheer leading for the sixth grade teachers in my district. Money was used to pay for subs so that we could all hear for a day why the common core was so wonderful. We were told that students would no longer be graded on completion of assignments or an average of assignment and test scores over a grading period. Instead grading will be based on mastery of a subject. How do we determine mastery? The district has provided bench mark tests in language arts. We were told that these are not mandatory BUT that if we did not use them they would become mandatory. I find it scary that students will now be graded only on tests written by the core. The final assessment was a research paper on modern revolutions. Interesting how now in the sixth grade learning can be skewed to a political point of view that may or may not be historically accurate. I find the curriculum scary and the measurement of learning terrifying. I know though that any questions I asked contrary to the core were met with anger and frustration. It was NOT allowed and dismissed to ask a question that was not common core friendly. I along with other teachers are afraid to speak out publicly against the core for fear of losing our jobs. I work in the Jordan school district.”</p>

<p>Vicky,</p>
<p>I just got a first-hand, super-dose of the Common Core. This is my fifth year substitute teaching in the Boise School District. For two days last week I taught in a Boise elementary school that is implementing the Federal Common Core curriculum. It was horrible! I&#8217;ve taught at this school before, and it wasn&#8217;t like this then. I couldn&#8217;t believe the way they micro-managed every move the kids made, even on the playground. The principle was marching up and down the halls like a little general. And the way they had taught the kids math was absurd! I’ve read about Common Core, and I have been concerned. But this experience &#8220;inspired&#8221; me to take a deeper look. I went on youtube, and lo and behold there was a quote from Idaho’s own Tom Luna on Glenn Beck. Here&#8217;s the link to that, and a second one.</p>

<p>I am sending these three links to the parents of every Idaho school-age child I know. This is for real. Feel free to use my story, if you like. We&#8217;ve got to get it out of Idaho before the parents have no more say in what is being taught in their schools, and Common Core ruins the lives of their kids! </p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kevin Miller at the Canyon County jail</p>
<p>Did you listen to the radio the other day when he was at the jail? Did you really hear what was being said? Did you understand what they said? As I was listening, I was mortified!</p>
<p>Kevin Miller, lately, has done a great job getting our great “leaders” on the radio but the interviews should strike fear in the hearts of the people that elected them but why is there still silence? I believe it is because the people that elected them have forgotten the purpose of elections or the indoctrination in our tax funded education system is finally seeing the fulfillment of its agenda.</p>
<p>Was our election process put in place as a popularity contest like American Idol? Was it to get someone in there to fulfill and agenda? The reason was originally to elect trustworthy, morally upright individuals that had a firm understanding of the principles of freedom, a knowledge and a desire to preserve these principles to secure freedom for future generations, not to write laws to protect us from ourselves using “In the name of security” and fear tactics to force people into submission in reckless abandon!</p>
<p>I hear the governor, mayors of several cities, congressman, legislators, law enforcement and sheriffs talking about things that prove the ignorance of the people because they were elected to office. This is not about whether these people are nice or good looking or popular or not, many of them I know personally and are very nice people, this should be about whether they possess the ability and the knowledge to do what their position requires. Can they distinguish the difference between the preservation of freedom and “in the name of security?” If you ask me, if they do, they are ignoring it because nothing could be further from the truth, All you have to do is ask yourself are you as free as you were even one year ago? Simple, right?</p>
<p>I have been told by many via email and on the phone that I speak at a level that is difficult to understand or maybe I do not make my point as clearly as I should, in either case I see the danger of what is being said and the simple fact that I see it is enough to try to be informative even if I lack that ability, or that I am grammatically challenged, because I care enough. I am constantly trying to shape my message and hopefully people, over time will realize I am not nuts and have their best interest at heart</p>
<p>In order to try to help make my point, I am going to take a few statements that were mentioned and ask you what the consequences would be of what our government supports in these statements.</p>
<p>It was stated that the sheriff and the Boise mayor approve of the gay ordinance because it protects gays.</p>
<p>Sounds harmless, doesn’t it? Now, think about what that means and how it correlates with law and freedom. If you create a law to protect one class of people, wouldn’t that elevate the rights of one class over another? Now, what does the intent of the law state? Laws in this country in order to maximize freedom and justice for all mean that any law created must apply to all people equally! If the law is unequally placed, it creates a division between the particular classes of people. The fact remains that the law that applies to all is one that if anyone is harmed that justice will be served, no matter who you are, a law that applies to all people, not just a few. If you support laws for gays, shall you have laws for short people, tall people, Asians, Christians, and Blacks? Do you see how detrimental this is? Not only are ordinances  like this dangerous but it also proves how dangerous it is to authorize or to allow governments to make laws like this that are supported by law enforcement because it proves they lack the proper understanding of the law. In other words, there are already laws for criminal behavior that apply to all people! Their lack of understanding, by default is detrimental as you will see,</p>
<p>Another issue is the support for the jail. Do we need another jail? What are the alternatives? If governments are allowed to create any law and the people have no way to fight against, the government then has breached its limitations and has become the ruler not the protector. If government can write any laws, the consequence is the unlawful incremental criminalization of the people that fill these jails! If government has breached their limitations and can write any law they please and forcefully apply these laws to the people, is not the consequence of this the overcrowding in jails, causing the tax payers to continually fund their own eventual enslavement under the guise of keeping them safe?</p>
<p>What is the consequence of the increase of laws? What is the consequence of attaching fines to these laws (when used to generate revenue)? What is the consequence of allowing government to write every law “in the name of security?” What is the consequence of abandoning civics class in public school, re-writing history and electing government officials with no understanding of our history or without civics? What is the consequence of those successfully indoctrinated by the public school that they funded that strayed from the principles that guaranteed our freedom? What is the consequence of government breaching its limitations on the people? What is the consequence of ignorance of history?</p>
<p>Finally, one of the most disturbing comments is when I questioned the chief of police. “Is the supreme court the supreme law of the land” to which he stated ON AIR that it was! Here is the supreme authority in the county, the sheriff, charged with protecting his people against the encroachment of the federal government submitting to the authority of the federal government with obviously no understanding of checks and balances and the delicate jurisdictional boundaries thereof!</p>
<p>These are only a few of the many issues that should be addressed but yet, there is no outrage almost as if the people, the once powerful authority with the inherent power of the government has willfully relinquished that power to their government, not in the name of freedom but in the name of safety where there are no longer any limitations on what government can do. As a man of honor, and basic understanding of the law, in support of its proper limited application as was intended, I stand against all forms of tyranny, both foreign and domestic.  As a man of honor, the preservation of freedom and liberty supersede personal and political friendships and affiliations and I will stand for these principles because the people deserve to know they have been led astray and I will speak of these principles until I can no longer speak. Amen</p>
<p>I would again like to than KIDO and Kevin Miller for allowing me the opportunities to speak on the radio, you are good Americans to whom I am indebted with gratitude.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In response to The Busy Bee’s “Buzz about town” in May 9th edition of the Middleton Gazette I first submit the original words from the article:</p>
<p>“To whom ever wrote this article in the Gazette-We assume it was Mr. Munds who wrote the article in the April Buzz! We can only guess this because it was similar to the one write up he wrote announcing his candidacy. We were going to call the School Board and the Administration on the carpet, but first decided to call the County elections office to see why Middleton Schools did not do their job, as you alluded to! We were informed by the elections lady you were incorrect in blaming the district for not publicizing these school board openings. We learned that over two years ago the legislators passed an Election Consolidation Bill that transferred all of these election duties over to each county. The Counties handle all of these duties-running elections, setting poll places, providing ballots publicizing all election, legal ads in the paper, verifying paperwork and providing for dates of elections. No schools in the entire state handles these duties, nor have they had to for the past two years. I also got on the website of the District and found timelines showing dates for school board elections-even though it is now apparent to us that was not their duties, nor their responsibilities to even do so! We despise individuals that are always pointing fingers and harping on “Their basic rights being denied.” We are so fortunate to be living in this fine Middleton Community. Wake up and smell the roses Mr. Munds.”</p>
<p>My reply:</p>
<p>The older I get the more I learn from my mistakes and one mistake I have learned, that I think we are all guilty of, is making assumptions, guessing something and basing that something on one’s character when we don’t know the facts. Although I am 50 and human I have still been known to make mistakes but I hope that I am big enough and wise enough by now to admit when I am wrong.</p>
<p>To begin with, Buzz, I have frequently written articles pertaining to such subject matter in the Gazette but have never written an article in the Buzz nor have I ever responded to an article in the Buzz or the Gazette and if I did, I would have certainly affixed my name to it because if I cannot back up what I say, it really isn’t worth saying, is it? If you know anything of my activism, you know I am not afraid to stand publically on principle and have people know who I am. Do you really think that I am the only one in town that thinks like I do, or am I the only one that is loud enough to be heard? Since you assumed it was me, that wrote an article in the Buzz, allow me to reply to your article.</p>
<p>Your article is absolutely correct, for the most part, about the legislative action to for election consolidation but my question was not pertaining to the part of who controls the elections. This was about why a small rural loving and caring school district did not seemingly care about informing its citizens of the open seats available for election, which may not be the duty of the district but instead the desire of a loving community to inform people about new positions, like the city council elections. Should the reason why the election consolidation was enacted be considered and could knowing this support the questions raised? Was it because people did not trust the individual school districts to perform their own elections for favored outcomes? If the people’s concerns were for favored outcomes, would it not stand to reason that the upcoming open seats would be hidden to protect the existing board?</p>
<p>First of all, to my recollection, in all my articles I try not to blame anyone, I put it out there as questions to be considered. I have declared candidacy before, I know the people at the Elections office and, as you know, I ask many questions. Listed in the Consolidation handbook, it states that the districts should be announcing the open seats for the upcoming elections; the county just runs them and posts legal notices of who is running, there is a fine line. The question is why wouldn’t a Patriotic community celebrate the electoral process by advertising open seats in the electoral process and why would they refuse to unless it was a duty?</p>
<p>I did declare my candidacy; I am bold and a bit aggressive at times and say things that are not normally said because I believe in the people’s right to question their government to remain vigilant to ensure government is kept in check, to make sure the rights of the people are not violated. Our founders warned us about being apathetic and going with the flow and knowing it allowed government to rule over its people which is contrary to American Exceptionalism that I know Middleton seems to love and cherish, so are we really that different?</p>
<p>People know me only by my articles, but if people knew my love for my community, my kids, your kids and the preservation of freedom that made this country great, perhaps I wouldn’t be viewed only through what is written.</p>
<p>One of the biggest problems I have seen is the ability to meet with large numbers of people in this district to communicate the issues. I will admit, I spend all my time reading constitutional law and history books and spend free time with my family but when I have been out in public, it has been an exhaustive effort to fight for what most people don’t even know what they are losing. There are people that donate time to charities, do community service or paint or clean up the town, my time is spent in the fight, on the radio, public speaking and in hearings in city councils and the legislature trying to get people to consider what is happening to our country!</p>
<p>With all due respect, while you may like to think you despise someone you don’t really know, you may also want to ponder where your rights come from, and what they are and how they are protected before you can say that your rights aren’t being denied.</p>
<p>You are right in another aspect, I agree we are fortunate we live in Middleton and I do need to wake up, smell the roses from time to time and be thankful for what we have but please do not suggest that I am clueless when it comes to the proper role of government, the proper role of representation and the principles of freedom.</p>
<p>Is one that truly cares, someone that goes with the flow, without question or one that diligently attempts to hold our government’s feet to the fire to preserve freedom for our kids? Shall I just sit quietly if I knew my fellow citizens were being taken for granted? Dear God, I forbid it!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>“This is the way of escape that I have provided for My children”(May 2, 2013)</p>
<p>In my time with the Lord this morning, the Lord said these words: Son, tell My people to hear Me this day. Many run to and fro and do not sit at My feet.</p>
<p>Oh, My people, do you not understand that it was Mary who chose what I preferred rather than Martha. Yes, there is a time and season for every good work under the sun. But hear Me, My children, when I say come unto Me this day.</p>
<p>Many of you do not know what is at your doorstep. And only those hidden in Me shall be protected. Oh, My little ones, it is not My desire that any of you should perish. But hear Me well when I say that many shall lose their lives in the short days ahead when disaster strikes. I do not want My children walking in fear when this thing happens. Therefore, I say come unto Me, My little ones and sit at My feet. For those that dwell in the secret place shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.</p>
<p>My children, oh My children. You are entering the days that I shall fulfill every jot and tittle of My word. You shall see a thousand fall at your side and ten thousand at your right, but it will not come nigh thee if you would abide under My shadow. And for you to abide under My shadow, you MUST be obedient unto Me and sit at My feet and listen to My still small voice. For I shall protect you in the days ahead, provided that you obey what I say unto you.</p>
<p>Do not think that you can do your own thing and have My protection upon you simply because you call yourself by My name. For I tell you now, the days ahead shall be the most dangerous days any of you have ever lived in. Destruction, death, pestilence and calamity shall be everywhere. Do not think that you can hide yourself from those things without My protection upon you. For your sins shall surely find you out in these last days. And ONLY those abiding in Me through their obedience to Me shall have My protection upon them.</p>
<p>Oh, My little ones. Have I not warned you of these last days? Many shall be running to and fro and men’s hearts will fail them for fear of what they see coming upon the world. But for those abiding in the secret place of the Most High, they shall not be harmed by what is coming. This is the way of escape that I have provided for My children in these last days. NOT the escape from tribulation through a rapture. And for those that have believed this lie and have not prepared your hearts before me to go through the great tribulation, I say woe unto you. For you do not know what is coming for those that believe in My word. It shall not be a pleasant thing for those not abiding under My shadow in the secret place. For the authorities shall take many of you, even by force. And many of those that call themselves by My name shall turn from Me and deny Me.</p>
<p>Think not that all this is too hard a thing to bear. For I have warned you all in My word. For if they persecuted Me, My little ones, they shall persecute you. And because of My word that shall be released in power throughout the earth in these end-times, persecution shall be great.</p>
<p>Oh, My little ones, do not fear. For this life cannot even compare to what I have stored up for those that are faithful to Me to the end. But for those that think that they shall be raptured out of the earth and not face the great tribulation, I say come unto Me now and pray to be found worthy to escape the things to come. For many of you that have believed the lie and have not prepared yourselves shall find it very difficult to continue in calling yourselves by My name.</p>
<p>And for those that have prepared your hearts to go through My tribulation upon the earth, I say to you, prepare, My little ones. I do not say prepare for your doom as those not prepared. But I say prepare to be tested in all ways. But know this. The trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it be tried by fire, will be found unto praise and honor and glory at My appearing. And as you go through My refining fires, you shall find it easier to follow Me in all truth. Whereas, those in darkness will find it too difficult. For it shall be like the two opposing forces of magnets. The light and the darkness shall repel against one another. And those walking in My light shall find the darkness more and more repulsive as the days grow darker.</p>
<p>But for those that have not prepared themselves for this day, they shall find it more and more difficult to cross over to My kingdom of light as the days grow darker. For the darkness in people shall repel against the light. But not all hope is lost for those who do desire to cross over to My light. For I shall have mercy on any that will desire My light in the days ahead. And My light shall shine bright in those that are Mine for all the world to see. And any that desire My light shall be given mercy to cross over from the kingdom of darkness. But as I warned, it shall become more and more difficult as the days grow darker. For the light and darkness shall repel against one another in intensity, thus creating My true kingdom of light amidst a world of darkness and decay.</p>
<p>Oh, My little ones. Hear Me when I say to you all to come unto Me now and separate yourselves from the things of this world. For the enemy of your soul is doing all he can through the workings of man to fill My children with the things of this world. So that when this great separation begins, many of My children will be found on the side of darkness. And I tell you now, many of My children are already on the side of darkness and know it not. Therefore, I say come out from among all that is unclean and separate yourselves unto Me. Sit at My feet and allow Me to wash you through My word to you, My little ones. For you do not understand the gravity of the gross darkness that is coming. And this gross darkness shall fill all hearts and minds that are already darkened. And many that thought themselves to be My chosen ones, shall find themselves on the side of darkness.</p>
<p>Do not take My words lightly this day, My children. For none of you have faced this kind of darkness before. Therefore, once again, I cry unto you all to come unto Me and sit in my presence and do it often. Do not think that you already stand in My light. For have I not declared in My word, he who thinks he stands, let him take heed lest he fall.</p>
<p>I love you all, My dear ones, and do not desire that any of you perish. Therefore, it would be wise for all of you to heed these words of Mine this day.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Middleton School district- Honor, integrity, trust and representation?</p>
<p>I guess it is no secret how I feel about what has been happening with my<br />
local school district, so here&#8217;s one more thing that really makes me think.</p>
<p>When I attended school in the stone ages, I seem to remember having much<br />
more freedom that our kids seem to have today (So much for the preservation<br />
of freedom and liberty to us ad our posterity!). I remember that rather than<br />
raising taxes for all of the schools needs, raising money was part of<br />
school, the kids were entrusted back in the day to even work concessions,<br />
not only to raise money for its variety of causes, but to learn life skills<br />
and personal accountability and responsibility, but I noticed that much of<br />
this just isn&#8217;t happening anymore, I was curious and thought I would ask<br />
why. </p>
<p>I remember a few years ago when I was attending one of my sons high school<br />
football games, only parents were working in the concession stands and it<br />
had been said that they really had a hard time getting parents to work it<br />
because they preferred to watch their sons play the game, the Booster club,<br />
at one point was so frustrated by the parents unwillingness to volunteer,<br />
they wanted to fine the parents for failure to volunteer!</p>
<p>Anyway, when I was speaking to several parents asking why the kids aren&#8217;t<br />
working in the concessions, they said, as audible as anything, that the kids<br />
couldn&#8217;t be trusted to the parents decided to do it themselves. I walked<br />
away discouraged and thought about what they said to me for days and weeks<br />
afterward, what does that say about our community when the parents of their<br />
own kids openly state that they can&#8217;t be trusted? How will our kids learn<br />
personal responsibility if they don&#8217;t learn it at home, by parents that<br />
don&#8217;t trust them, or are not learning at school? How is this, as Middleton&#8217;s<br />
prideful motto stated, &#8220;Our future in progress&#8221; How are our kids learning to<br />
be responsible adults?</p>
<p>I was at my son&#8217;s middle school track meet today and what I noticed, I found<br />
interesting, There were kids working in the concession area. Does this not<br />
seem strange to you? It would be if you knew how things work around here. </p>
<p>MY question is this, so the middle school band kids can be trusted working<br />
concessions but not the high school kids? Can our junior high kids be<br />
trusted more than the high school? So, we can bring our own water and food<br />
and not pay an entry fee at Middle school events but yet we are denied the<br />
same rights by the high school &#8220;in the name of safety?&#8221; after paying 11<br />
years of bonds and bond elections to build a school beyond our means and pay<br />
the teachers salaries and benefits for life at the expense of your own<br />
savings accounts and the expense of our freedom that government was to<br />
protect?</p>
<p>When speaking to our illustrious superintendent, that says we are denied our<br />
rights to protect the kids, what are we really protecting if it really is<br />
the kids, are the high school kids then worth more than our junior high<br />
kids? What&#8217;s the real issue? My bet it&#8217;s like everything else, its about the<br />
money and its about unauthorized control of an entity that lacks any power<br />
to continue to restrict the very people that fund their existence and not at<br />
all about safety.<br />
A few reasons why I am running for school board is because we seem to have<br />
forgotten that we live in a free country, based on morality and personal<br />
responsibility, that the inherent power is in the people to limit<br />
government, not for government to limit its people and that parents have<br />
authority over their children and that the children and the parents have<br />
rights protected by our written law that no school district can deny. I am<br />
tired of the continual encroachment on the rights of the parents and the<br />
kids, whom we should be protecting and its because those in elected<br />
positions that lack the understanding of these limits and protections or<br />
prefer to strip them away from the people in which case, are unfit to sit in<br />
positions of representation!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today’s government efficiency-The promotion of insult and disgrace</p>
<p>Who knows what to expect when one awakens and goes through the day in our new AmeriKa? With all that that is happening, anyone that is slightly aware is on heightened alert, I am no exception.</p>
<p>Today began like any other day, as politically active and concerned with current events as I have been, I woke up just wondering what new law or restriction I could expect by our beloved federal government that happened while I was sleeping or perhaps what I could expect by the end of the day, the thought really makes it difficult to even get out of bed some mornings.</p>
<p>Anyway, few people know that after months of contemplation and study, I’m finally ready to take an exam for my life insurance license. Most friends I have in the business do well for themselves and due to the fact that I have spent every dime I hade on activism and no one has offered to fund my existence I had to do something. Why wouldn’t I get into something to not only make money to continue to fund my activism but to help people protect their assets and their financial security at the same time, staying true to who I am and what I believe.</p>
<p>So around 11am, I arrived at the test center and I was shocked at what I had to go through, so shocked it took some time for me to regain my composure. I walked in and took a seat, one guy was over at a machine with the receptionist taking fingerprints, as mandated by the state of Idaho so I waited. While I waited I read all the signs and noticed this place had more surveillance cameras than an airport! When the lady was done, she called me, asked for my ID and had me fill out paperwork. In this paperwork , it required enough of my information to run a background check for the FBI and Department of Homeland Security and authorized my fingerprints to be used to verify my innocence?</p>
<p>When I was called for my fingerprints, the lady told me than doing it myself, sine it was a digital system, uploaded to a database, she had to hold each finger and do it for me like I was completely incapable. If that wasn’t bad enough, I couldn’t just ink and stamp my finger but after they were inked and stamped, she had to then redo all of my fingers, rolling each one creating an additional set of prints? So, not only was I mandated to get a license, I was presumed guilty before proved innocent, but had to have my fingerprints registered with my government in order to take an exam, “In the name of security?”</p>
<p>How should I feel knowing that our government has declared anyone that loves freedom, liberty, the constitution, our history and cling tour guns and religion as terrorists? I’m Fuming!!!</p>
<p>If that wasn’t enough after I was fingerprinted, they said I had to remove all personal items, watch, rings and pockets had to be empty, I couldn’t have anything on me, so I left and put my wallet and stuff in the car. When I came back in, I told her I was ready to take the test so she asked for my ID again! I said, since you didn’t want me to have anything on me, I put it in the car. She said well I can’t let you test unless I see you’re ID. I said I was just here and showed YOU my ID so you know who I am and she said, “IT’S THE LAW.” I reluctantly went out to get my ID and came back in, handed it to her and signed in. Before I went back, they had me read a paper that stated that under no circumstances was I to speak or look at anyone and if I had an issue I had to raise my hand. Before I entered, the lady warned, every move I made would be watched and recorded and that I would have to be searched before entering the test area. I had already emptied my pockets, gave them my government issued ID’s and was fingerprinted, I was so upset I asked “if they wanted to perform a cavity search or get a picture of my sphincter before I entered and she thought that was kinda funny as if she knew these measures were excessive.</p>
<p>After performing my pat down, she asked if I had any questions and I said no but I had a comment, if she would allow me the privilege, she allowed me to comment. I told her I had never been so disrespected in my life! I told her how sad it was in this country that that we are so untrusting of one another we had to reduce ourselves to such measures and that such measures and our ignorance, it violated every right that protected under the law. I told her I already had to stand against TSA violating my family and deny trips but now I am forced to limit my education or be forced to submit to measures that no government has the authority to impose? I was outraged! I was then allowed to enter the testing area and , I remember sitting in my chair facing my screen so incredibly frustrated knowing nothing I could do or say would make any difference, How discouraging, and I was to remain positive?</p>
<p>As I left. I stood in awe. as I watched other people submitting to these same measures as if there was nothing wrong with them, violating every right that every sacrifice had been made so that we could remain free.</p>
<p>This was not only an outrage to me because of what I know, but that others either do not care or possess such knowledge confirming either the ignorance or the ignorance and apathy of those that were to remain vigilant to preserve freedom and liberty for us and our posterity! How sad, like sheep led to the slaghter!</p>
<p>This is one more way that our government is encroaching on the liberty of the people without their knowledge and they are doing it without the right or the authority!</p>
<p>Until people begin to challenge every regulation placed upon them, I’m afraid freedom in this country will be a distant memory, to be re-written by our government decades from now, like the Holocaust that never existed.</p>
<p>Were in trouble folks but I will never shut up because it is imperative to understand our government has become evil like others that oppress their people and without limitations, “in the name of safety.”</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Middleton in Lockdown after Boston scare?</p>
<p>Seriously? Are you buying all of the fear tactics of the government forcing submission upon its people?</p>
<p>I can’t even keep track, we’ve had Oklahoma bombing, 9-11, Waco, Ruby Ridge, Columbine, Sandy Hook and now Boston after countless other events and we are supposed to believe that these are all instances of Al Quaeida or angry kids? What about the Taliban? NO, what our media was hoping for was a nice slow transfer of blame to the “right wing extremist tea party patriots”after the “blame Bush” thing wore out!</p>
<p>Is it hard to remember, our own government saying “we cant let a good crisis go to waste” or “ we need to repeat gun control mantra over and over to really brainwash us ?”“That our children aren’t ours, and that we don’t have the right to home school or make decisions regarding vaccinations as the list of restrictions go on and on? Now the government feels it has the authority to determine if the people are mentally ill? Maybe the government is mentally ill, what then?<br />
How do people not question these thoughts when we see events unfold right in front of our eyes?</p>
<p>So much has happened, and happening so fast that I find it hard to keep track of all the efforts and events performed to restrict our rights on a grand scale, daily! How can people not see this? These events now happen in the smallest towns in America, for the most petty of excuses, since Boston, it is backpacks and water bottles?</p>
<p>With each one of these events, one thing has been true and consistent; they all have a direct correlation on the immediate necessity to make laws to prevent the event from happening again?</p>
<p>Even in Middleton have we been affected by a high school lockdown, where there was an apparent stray backpack and the bomb squad was called while the kids were stuck inside?</p>
<p>Who would lock our kids INSIDE in a bomb scare? Why was it when the parents called, they were lied to by the receptionist, that said it was a DRILL? Sound familiar? Why was it when we received a text message from our son inside that said the call was a lie did we become concerned? Just what the hell is happening to this country, when we are so willing to look to the government to protect us from our own neighbors? Have we lost trust in our own town folks that we are willing to abandon any freedom we may have left to submit to the security of government?</p>
<p>What the hell happened to our constitution and our Bill of Rights? What happened to the foundational principle of limited government where we the people were the inherent power and that government by not having this power had little to no power to restrict any of the rights of the people and now schools can make law and lie to the parents while funding their salaries and benefits are obligatory while they not only control our children but the parents of those kids?</p>
<p>Just who the hell are they kidding? IN an effort to call Bs on the fear tactics, I will ask, after his debriefing, my local SRO to call me when any issue regarding the bomb squad shows up so they can not only keep their bomb suits at home but to save the tax payers money so I can go and get the backpack or water bottle exposing the non existent threat of dramatized tactics to enslave a free people! I will not tolerate it without is being challenged as far as I can! I call BS on it all!</p>
<p>Just like all other events, that had drills or inaccurate stories made to confuse, Maybe Middleton had this event in an effort to justify its elaborate expensive existence after a failed 10 year school bond that would enslave the towns people to a burden without any understanding, of how bad the economy will be from one year to the next? What do you expect If you build a school, over budget and cant admit it, you do anything to make sure it was continually funded, even lowering yourself to the level of striking fear in the school supporters in fear of school closures and the possibility of the children not getting the quality education they were promised?</p>
<p>I am convinced that our life has become nothing more than a Matrix, the question is am I nuts or am I right and others in disbelieve are wrong? I guess that thought is up to you. Im confident in what I know, are you?</p>

<p>I love my friend Kevin Miller in the morning on Boise’s580 KIDO am, first because he gives me and others time to rant, second because he listens and third because he entertains debate in an effort to get to the truth.</p>
<p>It was asked to me why Kevin allows Liberal Steve on the show and as nuts as he drives most people including me, I enjoy him on because he represents the apparent majority of mindless propaganda digesting Americans that couldn’t find the truth with both hands.</p>
<p>The other one that drives me insane, probably more than liberal Steve is this new regular Phil Hardy. This guy that claims to be a republican but seems to portray more of a communist at best not only because I cannot tell if he is lying or ignorant but his answers are so far off the mark for what is expected for his knowledge of the limitations of government protecting the rights of the people!</p>
<p>The one thing I will say, although these guys like Liberal Steve make people angry, is that not only do they increase the listenership, I believe they increase the listenership meaning that people become so bothered by what they hear, they are driven to call and to hold these dingbats accountable, but the truth is as much heat as they get from people like me and others, I respect their willingness to take the hits and to me, those guys have guts even if they are wrong!</p>
<p>I look forward to continued on air debates as long as Kevin will have me and hopefully with all of the effort freedom lovers like myself pour into our lives, we hope that some of these debates have brought educational moments to these guys to a point where liberty may be restored to the people.</p>
<p>Just to clarify, for those wanting to know, this has never been about Tom getting airtime, nor entertainment, at least for me, this is about taking the time to let people know that I am not afraid to ask the tough questions and to put it all on the line, to not be baffled with Bull at times when I can see it a mile away and to let concerned people that want to know that if a fighter is what they want, Im right here!</p>
<p>This country is going to hell fast if people do no become engaged and Im just doing my part regardlessof how the government defines me, because I know the truth and I speak it as loudly as possible!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is the supreme court supreme?</p>
<p>Didn&#8217;t Adams say that &#8220;the constitution was written for a moral and religious people and wholly inadequate for any other form of government?&#8221;</p>
<p>What happens if america becomes neither moral or religious? Well logically, if a parameter was stated to apply to a particular institution and the parameters of that institution no longer apply, then neither does that institution, right?</p>
<p>Constitutional law and american history are my passions. As i read attempting to understand how we got where we are today, i am not surprised at our present situation. What we are told by government is an absolute lie!</p>
<p>In a constitutional republic we had three branches of government that were to operate in &#8220;good behavior&#8221; with imposed limitations on each brach to preserve the integrity of this form of government, not two branches in full submission to one!</p>
<p>What happens when the branches of government overstep their limitations and the people or ignorant? You get exactly what we have today, an emerging dictatorship while certain people are aware of this, others ignorantly still believe they are free. How can we be free when the checks and balances have been destroyed and all law hinges on what one branch says?</p>
<p>In my opinion, one of the biggest lies perpetrated on the people is the power of the supreme court. Are they really supreme?</p>
<p>If the supreme court is supreme how is supreme defined? If they are supreme does this mean they are without limitations? If the are without limitations is this branch exempt from checks and balances? If they are exempt how are they controlled to prevent usurpations? How do we define the relationship between the states and federal jurisdictions and state vs national sovereignty?</p>
<p>The fact of the matter is that most of this due to the fact that we have not been taught constitutional law or civics and are left to believe what ever government says, this is a lie!</p>
<p>The definition of the supreme court was that it was the highest court in the land above all others. This courts job was to have knowledge of law and properly apply the written existing law, not to interpret law according to the whims of popular or societal changing interests much less ban together with the executive branch to create this dictatorship! </p>
<p>People say today, the supreme court has &#8220;ruled?&#8221; Can the Supreme court rule? It is not a king, it can only give opinions regarding the law!</p>
<p>The supreme court in its opinions have no enforcement mechanism making their opinions merely suggestive to those in the case.</p>
<p>The supreme court when it hears a case, and gives an opinion, does not mean that the decisions to this case apply to everyone in the land, it is like other courts in that it applies to the litigants in that case! </p>
<p>When the supreme court gives opinions, and they are considered law? what about the legislative branch? what about the fact that the states are free sovereign and independent states? Can a federal government trump the law of the states? If it can there is not only no separation of powers but no state sovereignty and therefore rendering the states subjects to the federal government and the people, the once inherent authority, now as subjects to both!</p>
<p>The supreme court is only supreme in the fact that it is the highest established court in the land and not that it has any knowledge or desire to operate the way it was intended!</p>
<p>We have essentially traded our God for government and rather than one tyrant English king, we have nine tyrants in black robes!</p>
<p>Was the supreme court intended to be supreme where this branch was to be superior to the other two and to force these branches and the states to submit to its supreme authority?</p>
<p>Not a chance!</p>
